Why do we have multiple Take Profit levels? ✅

Well, the goal of every forex trader is to make money.

Therefore, we like to secure some profit at the beginning of the move. Since we trade small timeframes, this usually happens pretty quickly.

Once we have hit our first Take Profit (10-15 pips), then we move our Stop Loss to our entry point on the trade, eliminating the risk.

We then allow the trade to either hit our final TP or breakeven. This means we can walk away from the desk knowing that we have made money for the day, and that there is possibility for more profit with 0 risk!

We had a +4% week but didn’t actually take our TotW this week!

This GBPJPY analysis was provided on Tideways Premium on Friday morning & played out perfectly pre-NY session.

Price closed above resistance, confirming a breakout. Support was then created & entries were above the candle’s high! 25 pips in 20 minutes!
