South Africa does face challenges and lots of them. Yes, there’s a case for not putting all eggs in one (smallish) JSE basket. However, there’s perhaps a better case to be made for ‘having your cake and eat it’. Investec Asset Management reminds investors that they could surf the waves, enjoy the beautiful beaches and lifestyle in South Africa, while simultaneously reaping the benefits of well-chosen offshore funds.
