The engagement provided an opportunity to share insights on financing models, products, partnerships, risk-sharing mechanisms and approaches to expanding access to affordable and ultra-affordable housing.

Through the NHFC Supplier Development Grant, Monakato Capital, a 100% black female-owned enterprise, received R300,000 to overcome a key operational challenge and acquire a dedicated delivery vehicle.

The investment has strengthened the business’s operational efficiency, reduced transport costs, improved customer service and increased its competitiveness for larger contracts and tenders.
