Financial Markets (Banking, Wealth Management and Fund Management) are sectors that require true transformation at operational side. There is a need for black Africans especially women to learn how to manage and invest money on behalf of pension funds and private individuals. Asset Consulting side is even worst considering very few number of black asset consultants who can do proper due diligence and manage arrays of funds. There is also a need for Fundamental and Quantitative Hedge Fund Managers. This industry will not transform unless black people take their rightful place. You must have passion for the markets, making money, sales and marketing skills to attract more money. It's all about performance

Having been involved in financial markets for many years, I have realised and experienced the changes in the skills and academic knowledge needed to comprehend the dynamics of financial markets. These are the skills that one needed at almost all levels of operation: in depth understanding of finance and Economics, computational abilities (advance excel, VBA, R, Matlab, etc), mathematics and financial engineering ( applied mathematics, physics, engineering) and most importantly experience and intuition.
