The History of Money Matters
Money Matters was Founded in 1992 by Gordon Boler. Previously, Gordon had worked as a Consultant on Contract, his last being a seven month stint in Botswana for a major Corporate. When he returned, he had a friend, Mario, who had Financial Problems. Despite answering many advertisements (in those days in the Newspaper) all that Mario was offered were further loans and no help whomsoever. For that he was charged R100 up to R200 for just the meeting. That was the reason Gordon started Money Matters. He helped and advised Mario, met with the Bank and negotiated a way forward that was amicable and workable for both Parties. In 1997, together with his wife Sue, Money Matters specialised in the SME Market Place. Since then Money Matters have helped innumerable Businesses through their Financial Problems. Even though times have changed and South African Business has become more complicated and diverse, the Basic Principle of Business have not changed and still apply. Money Maters now has its own Team of Experts.
