Avoid blind spots & No-Go Zones Some safety tips:
• If you can’t see the truck’s mirrors, the driver can’t see you.
• Don’t cruise beside a truck, pass or drop back
• Don’t cut in front of a truck, they need longer stopping distances.
• Pass quickly and on the right only when safe, avoid lingering next to the trailer.
• Leave extra following distance, trucks can’t brake like cars.
• Be patient on turns, trucks need wide turning space.
• Never squeeze between a turning truck and the curb.
• Give space at roundabouts, trailers swing wide and can clip vehicles
