🌱 An impactful week at Green Youth Indaba 2026!

As a proud partner of the Green Youth Indaba, FoodBev SETA joined government leaders, industry experts, innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and young people from across South Africa for a few days of meaningful dialogue on transforming youth innovation into green enterprise and economic impact.

The programme explored critical topics including youth participation in the green economy, circular economy opportunities, green entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, infrastructure development, research and innovation, funding for youth-led ventures, and the skills needed to thrive in an evolving economy. Discussions reinforced the importance of creating pathways that enable young people to move from learning to earning, from innovation to enterprise, and from potential to impact.

Through our Career Guidance exhibition, FoodBev SETA engaged with aspiring professionals and entrepreneurs, sharing information on skills development opportunities, career pathways, and opportunities within the food and beverage manufacturing sector. We were inspired by the passion, creativity, and determination demonstrated by the young people who participated in the Indaba.

At FoodBev SETA, we believe in supporting the causes that matter to our stakeholders. As South Africa transitions to a greener economy, we remain committed to equipping young people with the skills and opportunities needed to thrive. A special thank you to Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa, the main sponsor of the Green Youth Indaba, for championing youth development, sustainability, and inclusive growth.

Together, we’re empowering the next generation of innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers.
