Laaste dag van Maart 2026

Op die laaste dag van die derde maand van 2026 is dit amper onwerklik om te besef dat die eerste kwartaal reeds agter die rug is. Hoeveel transaksies het plaasgevind? Hoeveel daarvan was doelbewus – en hoeveel was ondeurdag?

Vir baie staan ’n nuwe finansiële jaar nou voor die deur. Dit bring ’n belangrike vraag na vore: Wat is jou besluite vorentoe? En hoe sou jou besluitneming lyk as jy reeds oor finale, afgetekende state beskik het?

Hierdie week het my weer herinner daaraan dat alles in ons lewens op keuses berus. Selfs die besluit om nie te kies nie, bly ’n keuse. Om geen besluit te neem nie, ís ’n besluit – met gevolge.

D**k oor jou besigheid. Werk aan jou besigheid, nie net in jou besigheid nie. Groei en volhoubaarheid lê selde in die daaglikse bedrywighede alleen, maar in die bewustelike rigting wat jy kies.

Die pad vorentoe is nie ’n gladde snelweg waar jy konstant teen 120 km/h kan ry nie. Daar gaan oppe en affe wees, skerp draaie en onverwagte uitdagings. Die verskil lê in hoe jy daarop voorberei.

Gebruik die insigte van vorige jare. Leer uit wat gewerk het – en wat nie. Beplan vir die mees waarskynlike gebeurlikhede, maar bly ook buigsaam genoeg om aan te pas wanneer dinge verander.

Die nuwe jaar is nie net ’n voortsetting nie – dit is ’n geleentheid om doelgerig te kies, beter te beplan en met groter bewustheid op te tree.

Last day of March 2026

On the last day of the third month of 2026, it feels almost unreal to realise that the first quarter is already behind us. How many transactions have taken place? How many were intentional—and how many were impulsive?

For many, a new financial year now lies ahead. This raises an important question: What decisions will you make going forward? And how would your decision-making look if you already had final, signed-off financial statements in hand?

This week reminded me once again that everything in our lives is built on choices. Even the decision not to choose remains a choice. To make no decision is, in itself, a decision—with consequences.

Think about your business. Work on your business, not only in your business. Growth and sustainability rarely come from day-to-day operations alone, but from the deliberate direction you choose.

The road ahead is not a smooth highway where you can simply cruise at a constant speed. There will be ups and downs, sharp turns, and unexpected challenges. The difference lies in how you prepare for them.

Use the insights gained from previous years. Learn from what worked—and what did not. Plan for the most likely scenarios, but remain flexible enough to adapt when circumstances change.

The new year is not merely a continuation—it is an opportunity to choose with intention, plan more effectively, and act with greater awareness.
