We would like to address some frequently asked questions below -

** Please note that each Insurer has adopted different views and methods to assist (and this is changing on a daily basis) so you would need to contact us so that we can check how to best assist you -

- Returned debits - Insurers are adopting a lenient attitude due to the lockdown and the fact that many people will have financial strain during this time. Policies will not be lapsed due to non payment due to " insufficient funds ", however if the debit is returned as a result of a " stop payment " this will result in the policy being cancelled, so please don't do this.

- Motor amended cover - if your vehicle/s are going to be securely stored and NOT DRIVEN during lockdown, let us know and we can amend the cover to Third Party, Fire and Theft Only, which will result in a premium reduction. However, do be 100% sure that the vehicle will then not be driven, as if you amend the cover and then use the vehicle, this would result in a claim being rejected.

- Loss of Profits - sadly this is not covered by the Standard Commercial Policy as disease is not an insured peril. The only policies that cover this is the Hospitality policy, which covers the loss of cancelled bookings due to covid-19.
