Aktua is the student society of the Department of Insurance and Actuarial Science at the University of Pretoria. It's membership consists of all the students taking courses in the Department. The main goal of Aktua is to lighten the burden of students in their quest to graduate and qualify as actuaries or financial engineers. etoria. There are many AcSci groups, but we reckon a more local group will help keep in touch with friends and classmates who move on. All announcements will be made on the FaceBook page with messages sent to all members of the group, as well as on the website (for address see below) and also in class.
