Ms LG (Wendy) Theunissen. Wendy has over thirty one (31) year’s practical experience in the domestic and commercial short-term insurance industry as a claims manager for various Insurance Companies, as well as having worked for four (4) years with an attorney specializing in ombudsman cases, third party and recoveries. She is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the company. Her formal insurance qualifications are FAIS compliant. FCII MBA AILA is our registered compliance officer. He has been involved directly in the short-term insurance industry since 1967. Gerrit was president of the Insurance Institute of the former Northern Transvaal Region in 1989. He has obtained the highest short-term insurance qualification in South Africa, namely: a Doctorate in Insurance Loss Adjusting, FCII, as well as an MBA and AILA qualifications. Gerrit’s experience ranges from management, underwriting, claims administration, claims assessments and insurance training, having done training for the Insurance Institute of South Africa since 1985. He is a qualified education Assessor as well as Moderator, registered with ETDP and SAQA. He has also been appointed as a Commissioner of Oaths for the entire Republic of South Africa, which is a rarity for South Africa. Ms Leonie Van Diemen is our financial manager in the Company and has 6 years experience in the Insurance sector. She obtained a BCom degree specializing in Economics and Statistics from the University of Pretoria. Based in Cape Town, Kirsan Perumaul specializes in Marine Insurance. He is associated with Contemporary Insurance Brokers and has the necessary skills and experience to service clients with expertise and service orientated purposes. He has been in the insurance sector for 9 years and has experience in claims, underwriting and marketing.
