The business seeks to cultivate a sincere and impartial working relationship between the owners and employees, whilst encouraging each individual’s loyalty, integrity, financial and artistic growth. True Blue counts amongst its many loyal clients individuals from a variety of professions: doctors, lawyers, psychologists, teachers, journalists, as well as a few local celebrities and sports personalities – Glen Hodgson of the Parlotones, Khotso Mokoena (S.A Olympic triple-jump athlete), Kurt Couto (Mozambican 400m hurdles athlete), Louis Potgieter (bassist for the SAMA-nominated indie rock band The Ice Project), to name but a few. Its owner has been featured multiple times in the Beeld news paper for tattooing celebrity portraits. Tattooing is done by appointment only and, although True Blue’s artists can recreate any flash design with great ease and finesse, clients are encouraged to work closely with the artist to create the custom tattoo of their dreams.
