Observo Risk Advisors initially started out as Henco Botes Makelaars/ Brokers in 1996. From the beginning of 2013 we changed the name again to Observo Risk Advisors. Due to the significant growth we experienced and to portray a more corporate and professional image, we decided on this name. Observo is Latin, which mean;” to guard” or “to watch over” or “to protect”. Henco Botes has years of experi

ence in the insurance industry and is more than capable to assist in all your insurance needs. He complies with all the “Fit and Proper” requirements as determined in the FAIS Act and passed the recent Regulatory Exams with distinction. Henco is married to Mariaan for more than 20 years and she joined the company in 2002. Mariaan oversees the administrative and claims duties.

Please note that our offices have moved premises as of 24 April 2018 to the Boardwalk Office Park, Olympus. Our number stays unchanged so if you need to contact us do so at 0861 782 726.

Then we would like to wish Monica a sad but joyful farewell. She will be leaving us to join the wine industry. We hope that she has success in all her future endeavors. We thank Monica for all her hard work and go-getter attitude these last 3 and a half years and she will be truly missed.

The insurers deployed additional field assessment and claim resources from other regions to assist with the influx of claims. Claims are also being categorised according to severity and impact on homes and businesses and priority will be given to those who are most severely affected.
