Alex recently received a boost of encouragement from the head of the Elite Unit (E2), Wessel Oosthuizen, which undoubtedly lifted his spirits. Additionally, the team at E2-Solutions extended their heartfelt well wishes to Alex, who has been battling health issues over the last 6 weeks.

We're all looking forward to his speedy recovery and return to full strength.

What an incredible achievement!

Huge congratulations to Alex and Daniel Rautenbach on becoming the first and only couple in Sanlam's history to both receive the prestigious Adelaar Award!

INVESTMENT SCAMS
Recently, a number of smart scams have been making waves.
The Planet49 "COVID-19 relief promotion" scheme supposedly supported local grocery chains but actually harvested participants' personal information (PI) to sell to third parties.
Then there's the WhatsApp gifting scam (previously named "stokvel"), which promised members great returns on initial investments of R200.
And the recent Bitcoin scam leaked the PI of about 250 000 individuals from 20 countries.
Follow these tips to avoid being scammed.

The SA Reserve Bank has lowered the repo rate to 5.25%, which brings prime to 8.75%.
This new rate cut means that on a R2 million home loan at prime rate, over twenty years, you will be saving almost R1 300 a month.
