Coin Afriq: Pre-Seed Round Nearing Close with Strong Momentum!

Exciting news from Coin Afriq! As a proudly South African blockchain and cryptocurrency venture, we're thrilled to share significant progress in our pre-seed round. We've received a concrete investment offer from a reputable investment firm, and we're also actively exploring another promising offer.

Our pre-money valuation of $5.675 million was determined using the Scorecard Method, a robust valuation approach for early-stage ventures. The investment firm's offer is for 15% equity, a strong validation of our vision and potential.

With this substantial momentum, and as we navigate these final discussions, we've decided to open a final, limited pre-seed offering. This is a unique opportunity for strategic investors to join us on the ground floor, either through debt or equity, as we prepare to revolutionize the blockchain space. A Coin for Africa

Hello

We'd like to share a little about our project:

CoinAfriq is a vision for a secure Pan-African coin and ecosystem, where anyone in can have financial freedom, despite all the conflicts in our region.

Firstly...why Africa?

Africa is a huge continent with vast natural resources.
It's also got great nominal GDP, but not so great GDP when adjusted for PPP. But it also has one of the largest untapped markets in the world.

That and we're proud to be from Africa.

Next...why another damn ?!

Because we want to alleviate our continents economic woes via decentralization and democratizaton of finance. Because Coin Afriq is more than just a cryptoasset, it's a vision.

That and it's also ACTUALLY more than just a cryptocurrency.

Instead of another derivative coin, we're building a native coin. Why? Because Proof of Work is wasteful (especially with loadshedding) and Proof of Stake is just not fair or democratic enough.

So, enter a Nominated Proof of Stake coin, run fairly by our community.

But why is it more than just a coin technically for my fellow nerds?

Well... we've got support for , , and derivative coins.

We're built on the Hyperledger Iroha2 framework. And it's built using Rust for the fellow rustaceans.

This makes it secure, type safe, and nearly as quick as Usain Bolt.

What about the quantum threat?
We've thought of that too!

Using a hybrid approach of and traditional binary we can prevent a nightmare with which is coming quicker than we think!

But what's the real use of our coin? What's the utility?

We're creating a coin and ecosystem that's easy to afford for the average irrespective of politics, borders or government, ensuring secure financ e despite corruption and conflict.

And it's user friendly!
