When the rubbish truck took out the cell tower in Nieu Bethesda, all of the wine makers at the Karoo Wine Club Stoep Tasting suddenly discovered a very serious problem… None of their Card Machines would work. 🍷📵😂 Which meant I could not pay for my order of THOR Vintners marvelous wines!

But as with most things n Wyn Boer maak n plan.

So I did an EFT once we eventually got back into cell phone country, and true to form, Emile — Thor’s wine maestro himself — personally delivered the wines to our BNB, the magnificent Whyte House, on his way back to Cape Town on Sunday morning.
That’s the kind of passion, service, and small-town magic you don’t forget.

Exceptional wines. Exceptional people. And proof that sometimes the best deliveries happen completely off-grid. 🍷🚚
