✨ 5 YEARS OF ENvestpro GRAVITAS! ✨

Five years ago, I started a journey that I didn’t fully realise would shape so much of who I am today.

Today, I’m incredibly proud to celebrate 5 years as a Financial Adviser at Envestpro Gravitas. 🥂

It has been five years of learning, growing, challenging myself, celebrating wins, navigating setbacks, and most importantly — helping people protect what matters most and work towards the life they want.

Financial planning is so much more than policies, numbers and investments. It’s about people. Their families. Their dreams. Their what ifs. And being trusted to be part of those conversations is something I never take for granted.

There have been plenty of lessons along the way, and I know there are still many more to come. But one thing remains the same: I genuinely love what I do.

Every herd has its own way of moving, but it only ever moves as one.

That’s the heart of ubuntu: I am because we are. It’s also the heart of an elephant herd, where wisdom is shared, strength is collective and no one walks alone.

So here’s to the herd, the heritage and the road we keep walking together.

🗓️ Exactly ONE year ago today…

I put on my running shoes, showed up at the start line and entered my FIRST EVER RACE.

At the time, I had absolutely no idea where that one race would take me.

Fast forward one year…
🏅 Multiple races
🥇 PBs
⛰️ Trails
🏃‍♀️ Half marathons
🚴‍♀️ A mountain bike race
💪 More kilometres than I care to count
…and now I’m TRAINING FOR A MARATHON. 🤯

Honestly, looking back puts things into perspective. A year ago, I was just trying to get through that first race. Today, I’m chasing goals I never even thought I’d set for myself.

So yeah…

Started from the bottom, now we’re here! 🫡😂

One year. One pair of running shoes. A whole lot of questionable decisions.

And we’re only getting started.

🚨 MARATHON UPDATE: THE DOCTOR HAS SPOKEN. 🚨

Unfortunately, the verdict is…

SIT. THIS. ONE. OUT.

After all the training and long runs, I won’t be lining up for my first marathon this weekend.

I’m disappointed, but I know the training wasn’t for nothing. Every kilometre has built something.

For now, I’ll rest, recover and rebuild before coming back stronger for the next marathon at the end of the year.

The dream is postponed — not cancelled.

EL Border Marathon, you win this round.

Next marathon… I’m coming for you.
