💭 Choosing a Debt Counsellor Is Personal
When you’re struggling with debt, you’re not just handing someone a list of numbers.
You’re sharing your life, your finances, your worries and sometimes things you may feel embarrassed or ashamed about.
That’s why choosing a debt counsellor you feel comfortable and safe with is so important. ❤️
You need someone you can talk to openly. Someone who listens without judging, explains things in a way you understand, answers your questions, and makes you feel like a person — not just another client.
Because debt counselling is a journey, and having the right person beside you can make all the difference.
❤️ Why DCSA?
At DCSA, I believe debt counselling should feel personal.
I’m Samantha, a registered debt counsellor and the owner of DCSA. I genuinely love helping people find their way forward when finances have become overwhelming.
I understand that life happens. As a mom of four, wife and business owner, I know that life isn't always straightforward. Financial struggles can happen to anyone, and there is absolutely no judgement here.
With DCSA, you can expect:
✨ A personal approach — you deal with me, not a call centre.
✨ A safe, non-judgemental space — you can be honest about your situation.
✨ Clear guidance — I’ll explain your options so you understand what’s happening.
✨ Support throughout the process — you don't have to figure everything out alone.
✨ Convenience — consultations are strictly by appointment, whether you prefer WhatsApp video, WhatsApp chat, or a relaxed in-person consultation over coffee.
Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable enough to ask questions, express your concerns and trust the person helping you.
Because this isn't just about dealing with debt.
It's about helping you feel in control of your finances and confident about your future again. 🌿

Debt Review Isn't The Enemy — It's A Tool To Help You Breathe Again
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is:
"Debt review will ruin my life."
The truth is that debt review was created to protect consumers who are struggling to keep up with their monthly debt repayments.
It can help by:
✅ Reducing your monthly debt instalments
✅ Protecting you from legal action while you comply with the process
✅ Giving you a structured plan to become debt-free
✅ Helping you keep food on the table while still paying your creditors fairly
But not all debt help is created equal.
Before signing up with anyone, make sure you:
✔️ Ask if they are registered with the NCR
✔️ Understand all fees before signing
✔️ Receive a proper affordability assessment
✔️ Get copies of all documents you sign
✔️ Ask how they communicate and provide updates
✔️ Make sure they explain BOTH the benefits and limitations of debt review
✔️ Never sign documents you don't understand
Debt review should never be about fear or pressure. It should be about finding a sustainable solution that works for your family and your future.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by debt and don't know where to start, let's have an honest conversation about your options.
