Meet Melvin - our very own éclair.

A little firm on the outside, but soft, generous, and full of heart on the inside.

As Director and Broker at Voorpos, Melvin is known as the office “fixer” - the person everyone runs to when something goes wrong, because somehow, Melvin always has a plan. As the Afrikaners would say: “’n Man met ’n plan.” 🫡

Melvin is fair-minded and believes there are always two sides to every story. He is reliable, wise, organised, and perfectionistic in the best way. He gives people the space and trust to do their work, while always being there to guide, teach, and share his wisdom when needed.

He is also incredibly giving and always looks after the wellbeing of the Voorpos staff. When the office is busy, stressful, or things get tough, Melvin is usually the first one to buy pancakes for everyone - because, in his mind, most problems can be solved a little easier with good food and a calm head.

As a proud girl dad, Melvin has a special kind of patience, which definitely comes in handy in an office full of ladies. He is a busy body in every sense of the word — always on the move, always involved (and yes, maybe just a little nosy.) But really, Melvin simply likes to know what is happening in the office. He will be the first to walk into a meeting (unannounced) just to stay informed, offer advice, or make sure everything is under control.

And one thing is certain: if you call Melvin, he will answer - even at 4:00 in the morning. He will be there.

Wise, reliable, generous, fair, and always ready with a plan - that is Melvin.
