Maritzburg Day Celebrating everything about the Burra! Maritzburg Day is set to rock the Capital of KZN, and is long overdue.

The event aims at celebrating everything good about PMB and its people, events and schools. The event will be staged at the PMB Botanical Gardens on Saturday 1st October and will feature a full line-up of live acts. The Parlotones, SA’s most successful rock band to date, will be headlining the event, and are sure to attract a he crowd from Maritzburg and its surrounds. What’s key about Maritzburg

Day, is that it has everything. On the music side, legends and Maritzburg favourites PLUSH will be one of the supporting acts, as well as amazingly talented Cape Town outfit, Jeremy Loop, who’s unique music talent combined with rapping, some orchestral instruments and damn good beats arte set to be a hit. Added to the lineup, The Meditators will be providing the afternoon with some quality reggae music, featuring their own albums, as well as the legend that was Bob Marley. It’s not just about the music, as a flea market down the plain tree avenue will offer ticket holders with a variety of arts, craft and food options. In addition, a fully supervised Kids Village will be present, making this an event for everyone.
