Skryf al jou inkomste en uitgawes neer as jou begroting. Indien daar ‘n maandelikse te kort is, doen jy die volgende.

Kyk of jy enige van jou nie-krediteur uitgawes kan sny. Dit is brandstof, telefoon, dstv, kos, klere, water, ligte, versekering, restaurant etes, ens.

Die volgende stap is om met elkeen van jou krediteure te praat. Praat eerstens met jou krediteur van jou verband. Indien jy nog op datum is gaan jy baie onderhandelingsmag hê. Vra vir laer rente of verleng jou afbetaal tyd.

Indien jy jou werk verloor het, vra die bank vir ‘n ‘payment holiday’ vir 3 maande tot jy nuwe werk gevind het.

Gaan dan na jou motor finansierder toe en vra vir laer rente en langer termyn.

Indien jy nogsteeds ‘n maandelikse te kort op jou begroting het, moet jy na elk een van jou kredietkaart verskaffers gaan om met hulle te onderhandel. Doen dieselfde met al jou lenings.
Indien jy nogsteeds ‘n tekort het al het jy alles hierbo gedoen, moet jy my so vinnig as moontlik kontak om aansoek te doen vir skuldberading indien jy nie jou bates wil veloor nie.
