Day 1 at the Batseta winter conference,

Our speaker Nazlie Seegers took to the stage at the conference to unpack the topic: "From Allocations to Outcomes: Embedding Member Experience into Investment Decision-Making in African Pension Funds."

The session highlighted the need for retirement funds to enhance reporting by explaining not only investment performance, but also the purpose and impact of investment decisions on members.

A key takeaway for trustees:
Asset Managers tell you how investments are performing.
Administrators can help tell you how members are responding.

If the objective is member outcomes, both perspectives matter.
