To sell, or to scale? I’m at a crossroads with Nspire. 👟
A few years ago, during the quiet of COVID, I started a sneaker brand from scratch. It was a passion project that turned into a fully registered, trademarked, and operational business.
Lately, I’ve had two separate offers to buy the brand. Both see the same thing: a turnkey business that is ready to "explode" if someone gives it 100% of their time.
I’ve been running this part-time, but the foundation is officially built:
* The Stock: 140 pairs ready to ship.
* The Legal: Registered trademark, Import/Export licenses, and tax clearance.
* The Machine: Verified suppliers and customs agents already in place.
* The Tech: A live, functioning e-commerce store (www.nspiresa.com).
The brand is sitting at a 10/10 in terms of readiness, but I’m still at a 2/10 in terms of daily time availability.
My question to my network: Do I hold onto it and keep it as a slow-burn side hustle, or do I hand the keys over to a buyer who can give Nspire the "full-time" life it deserves?
I’d love to hear from other founders who have faced this. How did you know when it was time to let go?
