Nathi Ndlovu one of Melanie' young 'heads of departments' at the Riviera hotel in 2010 is now, after honing his skills at various leading hotels, taking up the challenging task as General Manager of Riviera on Vaal Resort. Nathi will already this week jump in and start overseeing the cleaning up of the Riviera on Vaal country club. During a 18 month period that the facilities were managed by the golf club members the club house standards slipped into disarray! 😫See pictures of standards that he will re-establish... 🥳 Also some bad examples of a kitchen and other.......

The Riviera on Vaal Resort will soon take full control of the Riviera on Vaal Country Club as part of the ongoing betterment of the resort leisure offerings. Various initiatives will see a new 'customers first' approach - the place for all to play golf and spend leisure time. The reopening of the Inyama Restaurant and a very exciting loyalty program are some of the things that golf patrons can look forward to. The professional client friendly approach will acknowledge old supporters of the golf course but will also focus on attracting new markets. Negotiations are under way with a number of local and other corporate businesses to support monthly sponsored days with great prizes. Social golf clubs from the bigger Gauteng region is invited to become part of the exciting new 'home club' project.

Erkenning van toenemendheid.... 👏 Dit is met groot hartseer dat ek die boodskap van Saldanha Staal se sluiting verneem. VaalMac Engineering is in 1988 in Meyerton gestig en ons het later 1998 'n werkwinkel wat ondersteunende dienste aan Saldanha (Mittal) lewer in Saldanha oopgemaak. Stephan, Izelle, Richelle en Simone het hulle voete in die Baai nat gemaak en Stephan het 'n aantal jare aan die opbou van die besigheid gewerk. Top entrepreneur en vriend Dries van Zyl het die besigheid later oorgeneem; soos Stephan het sy hele familie Weskus toe verhuis en groot dinge gedoen. Dries is 'n dinamiese en toegeweide sakeman - die VaalMac besigheid het dramaties gegroei en hulle het tans sowat 400 mense in diens... Hierdie mense verskaf kos op die tafel vir sowat 2,000 gesinslede. Baie personeel en hul families gaan 'n donker en onseker Kersseisoen tegemoet! 😞 Baie sterkte aan al die VaalMac personeel..... ons d**k met 'n swaar hart aan julle!
