The company began its digital subsidiaries with a formation of the Maspr Digital now known as Beyond Meta in December 2011, which specialised in digital marketing, public relations and ICT.
In June 2021, Maciv Holdings formed a Digital news and Media company TNC - Transformative News Company, including the TNCB (broadcast), News (online publication) and The Long Story (podcast).

In February 2014, Maciv Holdings (Pty) Ltd entered the building products business with the formation of Far-as Sand later renamed to Godide sands and stones. Headquartered in Merrivale, Pietermaritzburg, Godide manufacturers and distributes clay bricks, concrete products and supplies quarry aggregates. It expanded its building products business in September 2019 just before the COVID-19 pandemic, when formed E-Builds e-commerce building supplies. E-Builds source and sells building materials that are available primarily in the KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
In 2023 we planning on launching a South African manufacturer and distributor of concrete related products and materials
