It is very important for an Entrepreneur to know that the income that the business makes is not his/her. The company is recognised in law as a juristic person and the Entrepreneur is a legal person representing the company. If the company is a VAT vendor part of the money paid by customers is VAT output which needs to be paid over to SARS after subtracting VAT input. The VAT vendor acts as a trustee for SARS and the VAT liability needs to be paid at or before the due date so that the company won't incur penalties or interest. There are other tax implications that the Entrepreneur needs to consider concerning the income that the business makes before diverting the money for private use.

Leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration motivated by passion, generated by vision, produced by a conviction. Leadership is therefore not doing but inspiring people to do. Leading by example is part of leadership but once done in excess it can discourage followers with leadership potential who might be growing into leadership. Once a leader sets an example he/she get out of the way to allow the follower or up coming leader to perform.The up coming leader or follower is likely to make mistakes which is part of learning since success is a journey. Great leaders attract and retain good leaders but weak leaders repel good leaders and attract good followers. A great leader encourages initiative and creativity but a weak leader encourages obedience and submission at the expense of the former. The world today than ever before is looking for great leaders to produce good leaders who will grow into great leaders and produce other good leaders. The cycle has to go on.Unemployment and other social problems can be reduced if great leaders are producing good leaders. Leadership is not a position but influence.
