Culture Capital

Culture Capital Personal. Professional. Impactful. A creative agency built on collaboration, excellence and a drive to make a difference. Let's change lives together. We do makeup.

This is Culture Capital. Let's first tell you what we do, but then more importantly what we stand for. We take photos. We make videos. We create graphic designs. We do sound production. We do this because we love it. We believe in beauty, growth and creativity. We believe in being excellent. We believe in collaboration, challenge and inspiration. We believe in working together. We believe in servi

ce, humility and community. We believe in making an impact. Culture Capital is an agency that centralises creative services. This means consistency in quality and vision, improved communication and a lot more convenience. The commercial work we do enables us to work pro-bono on a monthly basis. When you hire us for your business, you also hire us to make a difference.

Today marks one year since we officially started and the support has been nothing short of incredible. We've grown as artists, made our mark on the industry and done things we never knew were even possible.

We fought the ideas of starving artists, competition and doing whatever it takes to get ahead. We've built ourselves on pillars of chasing our dreams, passion in the craft and most importantly a sense of community.

We've worked with big fish like Absa, PUMA and Miss South Africa. We've been flown out to work with UN Women overseas. We've had our work shown alongside Barack Obama at the Nelson Mandela Foundation's annual lecture. WE DID THAT.

But we never forgot about the culture. We're still shooting SA's stunning music festivals, making moves at your local poetry night, creating art with our friends and learning from everything and everyone. We are a product of all of you and that's something that runs deep within our blood.

Lastly, we'd like to thank you for the difference you've made. Your business and support really has empowered us to change the lives of others. We've worked pro-bono for Slutwalk Johannesburg, the Neil Aggett family, The South African National Youth Orchestra, Spoken Sessions and most recently donated over R16 000 to pay Refiloe Mofokeng's outstanding fees. She graduates on Tuesday. Look at her smile. YOU DID THAT.

Thank you

African Beer Emporium in collaboration with our Chef Khanya Mzongwana launched their new menu on a beautiful autumn night with press, friends and family. Afterwards everyone enjoyed some delightful music at ABE's bi-monthly nights.

Thank you Shen Scott from Culture Capital for the pics!

Today the month of November ends. Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during this month to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's su***de.

We spoke to the men in our community about masculinity, manhood and men's health. They were each given three broad questions:

What do you feel makes a man?

In your opinion what is the biggest health issue men face?

What do you feel your role is as a man in society?

Here are their answers. Take the time to read them all.

If you would like to participate in the discussion or contribute your own answers, please do so in the comments.

Be respectful. Listen. Thank you.
