Dear Valued Colleagues

We are pleased to announce that the investment returns have been positive for the second month in succession.

There is appetite for risk (shares) and markets believe that President Joe Biden's policies will be biased towards emerging markets and SA is in that space.

Also, our valuations are more attractive than developed economies at this stage.

It is key to have a balanced portfolio where we have exposed your investment to various asset classes (equities, bonds, listed property and money market) both locally and abroad to manage the risk.

Cash and money market portfolios are suffering at the moment because interest rates are very low but we have always maintained a higher exposure to domestic equities and bonds.

We find SA equities and Govt bonds offering good value, hence, the wonderful rewards from these asset classes.

We will continue to monitor and manage portfolios to the best of our ability and please note that there will be bumps and fluctuations along the way.

Expanded Public Works Programme ( ) conducted by for the , which focused on, "How to Plan Your Budget?" (phase 1 - educate the learner - 21Aug2017 to 1 Nov2017).

Provinces reached: Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, Western Cape, KwaZulu - Natal and Free State.
A total of 150 workshops was conducted with 7480 beneficiaries being reached.
