Position: Call Centre Representative
Job Summary
As a Call Centre Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will handle a variety of incoming calls, provide assistance, resolve inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction. Your ability to multitask, actively listen, and respond effectively to customer needs will be essential in this role. You will work closely with our team to maintain service level agreements and contribute to a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from customers promptly and professionally, addressing their inquiries, concerns, or requests.
- Provide accurate information about our products/services and guide customers through the appropriate solutions.
- Utilize active listening skills to understand customers' needs and empathize with their situations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively and efficiently, escalating complex problems as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Follow up on customer inquiries promptly, ensuring all commitments are fulfilled.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve customer issues that require additional support or expertise.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing feedback and ideas for process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in a customer service or call centre role
-Proficiency in English and either Ndebele or Shona
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with a clear and professional phone manner.
- Strong active listening skills and the ability to empathize with customers.
- Proficient in using computer systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Attention to detail in accurately documenting customer interactions.
