Majestic 1930s Wooden Escalator that leads you to St Anna's tunnel, that crosses under the Scheldt River, Antwerp, Belgium.
This 572 meter pedestrian tunnel was built under the river Scheldt in 1931-1933 to link the old centre with the left bank (Linkeroever)
These escalators were a real novelty for the time. The two entrance buildings are the work of Emiel Van Averbeke.
