Corporate Social Investments encompasses projects that are external to the normal business activities of a company and not for purpose of increasing company profits. These projects have a strong developmental approach and utilize company resources to benefit and uplift communities and are not primarily driven as marketing initiatives. P
humuza Maphiko uses CSI initiatives as a tool to give back to the community and create a relationship with the community and other stakeholders. We have had several projects where we’ve donated food ,blankets, sanitary, school shoes and cleaning services to surrounding old age homes, orphanages, schools, under privileged homes and also offering help on request by the community. The whole idea behind these projects is to help decrease youth unemployment as we also offer job opportunities for the youth, to try and alleviate poverty and fight drug abuse, help to keep children in school and also lend a helping hand in our community. These CSI Projects are coordinated by our very own Miss Phumuza Maphiko along side the marketing team and management team, the community shows great response to these initiatives as well as local
media platforms.
