Would you pay R166/month for "priceless relief"? These are Sipho's words after he was paid R13,131.49 by GapCover.

Often, your medical aid leaves a portion of a medical bill unpaid. That is yours to pay out of your own pocket. For Sipho's colonoscopy, that's thousands he didn't have to find because he took out GapCover.

You deserve the same financial security and peace of mind.

Booked in for a colonoscopy or gastroscopy? "Pre-approved" by your medical aid doesn't mean fully covered.

Specialists can legally charge well above medical aid tariffs and when scopes are done in-rooms rather than in-hospital, that gap can leave you with a hefty bill. One recent client faced a R19,000 procedure with over R14,000 left uncovered by their medical aid.

GapCover's scope benefit pays what your medical aid doesn't, for up to 2 scopes per beneficiary per year.

If a procedure you need takes place in a specialist’s rooms your medical aid might not pay towards the cost. That’s because procedures, like colonoscopies and gastroscopies, fall outside the scope of what your medical aid is willing to pay if they aren’t done in a hospital.

GapCover is willing to pay. GapCover covers up to two scopes per beneficiary per year, for gastroscopies and colonoscopies done outside the hospital, and pays you directly.

Some dental procedures require hospital admission. If this happened to you, would you be mentally prepared? What about financially?

Even with medical aid, you could face a shortfall that runs into the thousands for in-hospital dental work because your medical aid works differently for these kinds of claims.

With one policy and one premium, you can protect yourself and your whole family, no matter who is admitted.
