Background:
I started my career at Panel Rite Panel beaters completing my apprenticeship as a Panel Beater and Spray Painter. From there I moved to the United Kingdom for three years where I managed a panel shop with 10 staff. Other responsibilities included estimating and overall control of repairs. After this I returned to South Africa, joining T R Tec (Manufacturers of Backdraft Roadsters) a
s the manager in the Panel division. Concorde Panel Beaters then offered me a post in their estimating division. This entailed liaising with the assessors as well as finalizing the repairs. Outsurance offered me a post as an Assessor and as I had the background and experience in the panel shop I decided to take up their offer and gained invaluable experience with them. Once I was satisfied with the grounding of assessing, I decided to venture off on my own and started G A Assessing Services two years ago. My knowledge, experience and networking ability in the industry has grown from strength to strength over the years and I believe my strength is being able to consistently deliver quality service at competitive rates. Well versed in Insurance protocols for assessing
Experience
16 years experience in the motor industry
10 years experience in estimating, spray painting, panel beating and mechanical
6 years experience in assessing

Durban and all surrounding areas
Midlands, Pietermaritzburg, Greytown, Mooi River and beyond
North Coast, Umhlanga, Phoenix, Ballito and beyond
South Coast, Amazimtoti, Scottburgh, Margate and beyond
Assessment include the following:
Photos of damage (if required)
Assessors worksheet (containing full details of vehicle and client)
Signing off of costings
Resolving customer queries and dispute on repairs
Pre and post assessment (if required)
Upon each instruction received, prompt response will be sent in return
12 – 24hrs turn around time (depending on location of assessment)
Settlement discount (negotiated if required)

Service Level Pledge:
Make contact with the client within 2 hours of receiving instruction
Arrange assessment within 24 hours of receiving the instruction or once quotations are available from repairer.
