LESSON TWO
Now we know TRADING ITS EITHER BUYING OR SELLING
Now in TRADING WE CALCULAT OUR PROFIT IN PIPS AND DOLLARS
A pip is a number value. In the Forex market, the value of currency is given in pips. One pip equals 0.0001, two pips equals 0.0002, three pips equals 0.0003 and so on. One pip is the smallest price change that an exchange rate can make. Most currencies are priced to four numbers after the point
EXAMPLE 1
IF SAY WE ARE TRADING
EURUSD BUY
AT TIME OF PLACING TRADE
€1 = 1.2340 it's BUY mean we are saying Euro is gaining cause its to the left and USD is LOOSING
Your PROFIT calculated like this
You look at Last 2Digits after coma in this case our are last 2 digits
In 1.2340 are 40
Per day when u trade u must TARGET 20pips that 40 is the one we use to calculate profit all the time we use last 2 digits no matter AUDUSD USDCAD GBPUSD USDCHF
So now the price is
at £1 =$1.2340 after an hour the new price
Is £1=$1.2360
We add 20 to the last 2 digits which is 40 to 60 so when we take profit the new price of the dollar will be £1=$1.2360 we added 20 to 40 to get the new price LIKE I SAID 20 DIFFERENCE IS OUR TARGET PROFIT
SO THAT CHANGE IN THE LAST FOR DIGITS THAT’S OUR PROFIT IN PIPS WETHER IT’S A SELL OR BUY THE CHANGE /DIFFERENCE IN THE LAST FOR DIGITS IS OUR PROFIT OR LOSS IN PIPS
EXAMPLE 2
Say we are trading AUDUSD sell
Our entry price at the trade its 1 aud= $0,9980 now we are selling in this trade meaning our direction is DOWNWARD
Now after 1hr trade for us to get profit the last two figures 80 as per our target has to go down by 20pips to a new price meaning
At time of placing trade 1aud =0.9980
And now after one hour of selling supposed we managed to reach target of 20pips /day. Our new price of AUDUSD
WILL SINC ITS SELL WE SUBSTRACT THE LAST TWO FIGURES BY 20
So new price its
1 AUDUSD = $0.9960
that’s the price when the trade closes
So that’s how calculate profits in PIPS
