✨ 𝗔 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴… 𝗔 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸… 𝗔𝗻 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿. 𝗔 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗔 𝗺𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.

A year ago, I was standing on a stage, being recognised for the work I love… surrounded by incredible people, feeling proud, grateful, and full of energy for what was ahead.

And today… 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵.

I am now facing 𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.

It is a journey I never imagined walking again… but here I am.
Stronger in some ways, softer in others… and deeply aware of how quickly life can shift.

But here is what I keep coming back to…

Years ago, I made the decision to plan ahead.
Not because I expected this… but because I understood that life is unpredictable.

Not from a place of fear… but from a place of lived understanding.

Not an easy road - but one I am walking with courage, support, and gratitude.

I am incredibly thankful for dread disease cover, which has made access to immunotherapy possible… giving me the chance to fight this with everything I’ve got.

This journey is deeply personal, but it’s also a reminder of why what we do matters so much.
