The National Credit Regulator (NCR) has sounded the alarm over fraudulent “debt-review removal” schemes preying on financially distressed South Africans. The Debt Counsellors Association of South Africa (DCASA) has strongly condemned these illegal practices, calling for greater accountability and industry unity.
