DEBT AWARENESS MONTH
February is National Debt Awareness Month.
This drive has been going on a for a few years, originally
pioneered by DebtBusters (and then many other Debt
Counsellors). During February consumers are encouraged to
take realistic stock of their finances and obligations and then
take appropriate action.
It is easy to rely on credit and skip doing a budget but it is
dangerous if you lose track of what it really happening with
your finances. Consumers can find themselves trapped in an
ever increasing debt spiral that leads to runaway debt that
they cannot cope with.
If you are not sure how to check your figures on your own,
then feel free to reach out to us as your Debt Counsellor during
National Debt Awareness Month.

It provides immediate relief from collection pressure, improves monthly cash flow, and offers a clear plan to become debt-free.
