Introducing Ozow Evolve, our inaugural event bringing together merchants, partners and ecosystem leaders to explore what the next phase of payments and commerce looks like for South African businesses.
The event marked a significant milestone in Ozow’s journey, reflecting our evolution from a Pay by Bank provider into an end-to-end payments and infrastructure partner.
As payments become increasingly interconnected and complex, businesses need more than individual ways to pay. They need infrastructure that brings together the technology and intelligence required to support how they operate, serve their customers and grow.
That was at the heart of the conversations at Evolve. From the continued development and adoption of PayShap and real-time payments to AI powered fraud prevention, governance and agentic commerce, we explored the forces reshaping the payments ecosystem and what they mean for businesses.
Solly Bellingan from PayInc, alongside Rachel Cowan FCCA, Lyle Eckstein, Rutendo Nyathi, Riaan Hanekom and Catherine Korsten from Ozow, shared their perspectives on the opportunities ahead and the role that technology, collaboration and risk intelligence will play in unlocking them.
