There was a time when the likes of Oprah and The New York times had the monopoly on public authority, with millions of followers hanging on every printed or spoken word. While large media outlets still control much of our attention, social media has made the power to influence mass opinion more widespread. So-called mainstream media is no longer the singular driving influencer of

public opinion. Brand advocates are everyday opinion-leaders who are well connected. They come in all forms; without any age, gender or geographical boundaries. Once converted, they provide unsolicited praise and suggestions, and will defend and support the brands they love. The illusive key is that the New Brand Advocate cannot be bought…they have to be engaged through a purpose they care about; one that transcends a product-only relationship. This innovative experience will create a multi-dimensional dialogue spanning all forms of media – a phenomenon we call Conversation Capital. Designed to give both food and fashion lovers a taste of the summer to come, the colourful Country Road Caravan will be travelling around with a fully-kitted Summer Selfie Booth,coffee and many prizes to be won.

The Caravan will be popping up all over the vibrant streets of Jo’burg, by the salty ocean of Durban and at Cape Town’s very own Sea Point promenade.
