Impact Amplifier is proud to announce its selection as the second executing entity alongside the Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) for the Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP) in South Africa, a global initiative of UNIDO - United Nations Industrial Development Organization funded by the Global Environment Facility.

As part of this significant initiative, we will collaborate with UNIDO and TIA to launch a R150 million cleantech debt fund for high-impact SMEs and deliver capacity and ecosystem support services to GCIP South Africa.

Over the next 12 – 18 months, we’ll design a blended finance model, build ecosystem support, and help farmers transition to more sustainable, climate-resilient practices.

For over a decade, we’ve partnered with Nando's to build inclusive supply chains that integrate small farmers, artisans, and IT professionals across Southern Africa and measure the impact this integration has created. Our latest impact assessment expands into Zimbabwe and Malawi, focusing on new cayenne and paprika crops, alongside long-standing peri-peri farming in Mozambique, South Africa, and beyond.

Using our proprietary tools like the Impact Amplifier Basic Human Needs and the Cost of a Resilient Life Indices, we’re measuring the changes in food security, education, energy, water, healthcare and housing. These insights help equip over 1,000 small farmers with the resources and skills needed for long-term growth and resilience.

GLLI's Online Safety Teacher's Workshop was well received at Port Alfred Primary School in Station Hill. SurfSMART alongside our media partner Talk of the Town led the much-needed workshop with informative presentations on the dangers of the internet, cyberbullying school policies as well as how misinformation and disinformation can manifest in a school setting.
