Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role involves developing dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support various business functions. The BI Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to generate insights that support decision-making.
• Dashboard & Visualization Development: Create interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• ETL & Data Processing: Work with ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into data warehouses.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with different teams to gather business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations based on trends and patterns.
• Database Management: Maintain and optimize SQL queries, databases, and reporting tools to ensure efficiency.
• Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security while adhering to best practices and policies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
o Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
o Experience with ETL processes and data warehousing.
o Knowledge of programming languages like Python or R is a plus.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze large datasets and derive meaningful insights.
• Communication Skills: Strong ability to present data-driven findings in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Deadline-Driven: Strong time management and prioritization skills to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
