They say their is nothing as certain as death and taxes. That said, its better to be aware of this certainty and to address or make provision for it.
Here is an informative article.

It is important to be aware of your post-death tax obligations to try to avoid unnecessary tax implications.

Financial Tip of the Day: Face your current financial reality

If you are not aware of how you spend your money, you won't be able to change your money situation. Take the time to list all your payments and expenses. Everything from your bond to your daily coffee.

When you become aware of how you spend your money, things change. You may find that you can consolidate some payments at a cheaper interest rate. Or you may find that buying a doughnut only every other day helps to make ends meet. When you complete this exercise, you may find you have more money than expected.

Financial Tip of the Day: Ask Questions

When we ask a question, we create new possibilities. How often do you look at something and say to yourself "I can't afford that"?

Robert Kiyosaki, in his book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", calls this lazy thinking. By making it a statement of fact, you've excused yourself from taking action. Instead, he suggests that you ask yourself "How can I afford this?"

When you do this, your mind starts coming up with new possibilities for how to do this.

Let's take our positively worded goal from the previous tip as an example. When you ask yourself, "How can I create financial freedom in my life?", you invite a new awareness. You become aware of the actions you are taking. These either take you closer to or further from, your intended goal. You may be guided to have a garage sale to generate more funds. Or consult with a financial advisor to help you better plan to achieve your financial goals.

Financial Tip of the Day: Have a Positive Goal

Money can be an emotional issue for most of us. Framing a financial goal in the negative may only exacerbate this.

For example; You have worded your goal as "Get out of debt". When you look at your goal daily, as suggested in the previous tip, you may get a negative emotional reaction when you see the word "debt". For some the word causes a sense of fear and for others, shame. This separates you from your desired outcome.

Rather, word your goal in the positive. For example; "I am saving to be financially free." Notice the different emotion "financial freedom" elicits compared to "debt". Positively wording your goal elicits a positive emotion within you. This then makes it more achievable.
