Did you know that May was Mental Health Awareness month?💚
At Carolina Trust, we understand the importance of staying healthy in all ways, including mental health!
In addition to several mental health resources and tips sent out by our fantastic HR team throughout the month, the credit union held a step challenge for employees. Walking for mental health is a powerful, accessible tool to lower cortisol, reduce anxiety, and improve mood, with benefits starting from just 5–10 minutes of daily activity.
Some of the ways that I worked towards reaching my step goal were daily Hot Girl Walks while listening to my favorite podcasts, taking Theo and Chili on walks, turkey hunting (first of the month) with my husband, and yard work. 🤍
