The LGBTI Cape Peninsula Pageant aims to promote understanding and acceptance of the diverse expressions and identities within our LGBTIQA+ community. We provide a platform for ambassadors to educate and raise awareness, challenging homophobia and prejudice. Our goal is to empower a new generation of leaders who will champion inclusivity, guiding and supporting young individuals – both within the

queer community and beyond – towards a brighter, more compassionate future. We strive to empower young aspiring models within the queer community, providing a platform where individuals of our LGBTIQA+ family can express their craftsmanship and talent through pageantry, modeling, and the performing arts. As part of the Absolute Beauty Pageant SA non-profit company, our pageant is created exclusively for individuals of the LGBTIQA+ community in Cape Town and the Western Cape. We're on the lookout for ambassadors and role models who are brave enough to step up, step outside their comfort zone, and spread positivity in their communities and beyond

Introducing Shuvandre Anastacia Rodriguez , a dynamic LGBTQIA+ advocate, pageant leader, and community-driven changemaker.

As Co-Director of the LGBT Cape Peninsula Pageant, she uses her platform to uplift, empower, and create visibility for diverse voices across the Western Cape.

A celebrated titleholder, Shuvandre’s accolades include Miss Gay Garden Route, Miss Cape Town Pride 2025, reigning Miss Humanitarian 2025, and 1st Runner-Up for Miss Sovereign Western Cape 2025—each title reflecting her passion for purpose-led leadership and impact.

Beyond the stage, she is deeply committed to community upliftment through her work with Impulse Cape Town, Badisa Trio, and The Florence Soup Kitchen Project in Macassar.

Through advocacy, outreach, and service, Shuvandre continues to champion dignity, equality, and hope for underserved communities.

A true force of passion and purpose, Erique is a celebrated fashion designer, accomplished pageant winner, and the reigning Mr LGBT Cape Peninsula 2024.

As an established pageant director, he pours his heart into every stage he steps on—bringing vision, excellence, and intention to the forefront.

As a dedicated runway coach and mentor, Erique is deeply committed to nurturing confidence, authenticity, and self-worth in every individual he works with—empowering them to own their story and shine unapologetically.

This means that if you have not yet submitted your online application, you can do so until the end of April 2026.

Get ready for the moment we've all been waiting for. Entries for the LGBT Cape Peninsula 2026 Pageant open on March 1st 2026. Details on the application process will be shared soon.

Eligibility criteria include:
- Being a member of the LGBTIQA+ community and a Western Cape resident
- Being at least 18 years old
- Not holding notable pageant titles like Mr & Miss LGBT Swartland or Mr & Miss Sovereign Western Cape, Mr & Miss Cape Town Pride or Miss Drag South Africa etc.

Applications will be submitted online; the link will be posted soon.
