Today, World Bank released the 2023 Global Economic Prospects report. Not surprisingly, the most troublesome issue is that global growth is expected to slow from 2.9% in 2022 to 1.7% in 2023, and the possibility of new shocks pushing the global economy into recession.

This inflation gauge for November showed price increases slowing to 5.5% in November from 6.1% a month before, and Goldman’s chief economist sees it falling even faster than anticipated.
