Serving a country, city, or other area, including the services and facilities necessary for its economy to function. Infrastructure is composed of public and private physical structures such as roads, railways, bridges, tunnels, water supply, sewers, electrical grids, and telecommunications ( including Internet connectivity and broadband access). In general, infrastructure has been defined as "the physical components of interrelated systems providing commodities and services essential to enable, sustain, or enhance societal living conditions" and maintain the surrounding environment.

Zimbawe ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ targets wheat self-sufficiency , to stop importation 2023

โœ๏ธ2021 season, winter wheat production rose to 330 000 tonnes from 212 000 tonnes the previous year. Zimbabwe requires 360 000 tonnes of wheat each year.

โœ๏ธ In addition to local initiatives to support production, Zimbabwe is expected to receive a chunk of the US$1 billion African Development Bank (AfDB)โ€™s fund to boost wheat production in Africa and avert potential food shortages in light of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

โœ๏ธThis 2022 winter season the country is aiming to attain wheat self-sufficiency โ€˜at any costโ€™ by targeting 75 000 hectares (over 380 000 ha at 5MT/ ha) through various initiatives, mainly private sector-led.โ€
