With over 15 years of experience in short-term insurance across personal and commercial lines, Allan brings a wealth of knowledge and a practical approach to supporting our brokers.

From assisting the underwriting team with complex risks to negotiating competitive terms with insurers, Allan focuses on quick turnaround times, sound underwriting decisions and professional service.

What keeps him passionate about insurance? No two risks are ever the same. He enjoys finding solutions to challenging risks and building strong relationships with brokers and insurers.

On 11 September, the Broker Support Group attended NAMPO in Bredasdorp at Hollard’s invitation.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, share conversations and strengthen relationships. We also enjoyed catching up with Thinus from Stepp Philren and the Overberg Wealth & Risk team!

📢 We’re Expanding: Claims Administrator

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and client-focused Claims Administrator to manage non-binder claims from registration through to finalisation.

The successful candidate will:
-Manage the full claims cycle in line with SOPs and SLA deadlines
-Liaise with policyholders, insurers, and service providers
-Ensure all supporting documentation is accurate and complete
-Provide proactive claims updates and manage client concerns
-Escalate complex, high-cost or potentially fraudulent claims
-Maintain compliance with TCF principles and insurer requirements
-Build strong relationships with brokers, assessors, and suppliers
-Participate in ongoing training and process improvement
