The Acting Chief Executive of FDC, Professor Moeketsi Emmanuel Mosola, has issued a strong warning to tenants and SMME loan beneficiaries who are in arrears. Prof. Mosola says all clients with outstanding rentals and SMME loan repayments must come forward immediately to make payment arrangements. Failure to do so will result in legal action. From September, FDC will begin eviction processes for tenants occupying FDC properties without paying rent, and will also pursue legal recovery against SMME clients defaulting on their loans. The FDC says it will no longer tolerate non-payment, as it undermines the ability to support more businesses and maintain properties for economic growth in the Free State.
