Please be advised - there has been a case where a Ford Kuga owner was contacted and told that Ford will send someone to collect their car, as part of the recall by Ford.

A young male, claiming to be “Wayne” arrived as organised and collected the car. However, the client then became suspicious and contacted Ford, who knew nothing about the agreement. The client then immediately contacted Tracker.

Tracker fortunately recovered the vehicle, however without any suspect 😠 Congratulations to Tracker on another successful recovery, and thank you for sharing this alert!

Policyholders involved with the recall, are asked to please be aware of these types of scams, and to confirm details before just handing over a vehicle.
