ذمار ـ سبأنت:
اختتمت بمحافظة ذمار، اليوم فعاليات الدورة التدريبية الخاصة بتربية ملكات النحل وإنتاج الغذاء الملكي، نظمها على مدى اسبوعين برنامج سلاسل القيمة بصندوق الفرص الاقتصادية بالتعاون مع جمعية وادي خبش الزراعية في محمية عتمة الطبيعية بمشاركة 19 نحال ونحالة من جمعيات ومجموعات النحل التي اسسها الصندوق في محافظات " ذمار ، صنعاء ، عمرآن ، الحديدة ، أبين ، تعز ، لحج ، اب "وتحت شعار " اعطني ملكة جيدة أعطيك عسلا وفيرا ".
وفي الاختتام أكد وكيل محافظة ذمار محمود الجبين ، اهمية تنمية وبناء قدرات النحالين على انتاج العسل وفق المواصفات الجيدة وبما يحافظ على جودة ومكانة العسل اليمني خصوصا في ظل الطلب المتزايد على العسل اليمني في العديد من دول الجوار نظرا لجودته.
وأكد الجبين دعم السلطة المحلية للمشاريع النوعية الهادفة الى تحسين الظروف الاقتصادية للنحالين وبناء قدراتهم بما يمكنهم من انتاج ملكات النحل والغذاء الملكي ورفع جودة العسل اليمني.
من جانبه أشار المدير التنفيذي لصندوق الفرص الاقتصادية المهندس فوزي التوي الى ان البرنامج يعد الاول من نوعه الهادف إلى تطوير نظم النحاله وبما يتناسب مع احتياجات السوق ، والحفاظ على حياة وتطور طوائف النحل وزيادة أعدادها وإدخال منتجات جديدة للأسواق اليمنية والمتمثلة بالملكات المحسنة و الغذاء الملكي ، وزيادة في الإنتاجية الإجمالية للعسل اليمني والمنتجات الغير عسلية .
ولفت الى ان البرنامج يهدف كذلك الى نقل المهارات والخبرات والقدرات التي اكتسبها المشاركين الى مناطق النحالين والمناطق المجاورة لها وتلبية احتياجات النحالين من الملكات المحسنة.
وفي ختام الحفل تم تكريم المشاركين في الدورة التدريبية من النحالين والنحالات المشاركين من المحافظات وكذا الجهات التي اسهمت في انجاح البرنامج التدريبي.
Closing Ceremony of the “First National Training Program on Bee Queens Breeding” at Natural Otomah Protected Zone –Dhamar – Thursday 07th November 2013
The deputy of Dhamar governorate Mr. Mahmoud Al-Jabeen attended the ceremony of the first training program specialized at “Bee Queen Breeding & Producing Royal Jelly” that held at a special area that is Natural Otomah Protected Zone –Dhamar.
The training program included 19 beekeepers (17 men & 2 women) from 8 governorates targeted by the Economic Opportunities Program (EOP), Value Chain Development Component ; the training lasted to 12 days covered all the latest information about bee queen breeding and producing royal jelly undertaken by two of the best master local experts in this field Mr. Shamsan Al-Ansi (Honey Supply Chain Manager – Dhamar) and Mr. Rafeeq Al-Hakeemi (Honey Supply Chain Manager – Taiz) who also working for EOP as SCMs for two honey exporters.
At the closing ceremony was established for first time in 07th November 2013 selling the first Yemeni bee queen commercially, remarkably, the all Yemeni beekeepers depend on bees naturally to breed their bee queen and there is nobody or association ever have been sold or sells commercially bee queens from entire Yemen.
This program additionally included opening of the typical apiary in that area, whereas Dhamar governorate is considered and located at the center of all Yemeni governorates so that facilitate access to the strong bee queens required by beekeepers from adjacent governorates.
One of the most strategic outputs of this training program is “A Preservation of Yemeni Bees Genetic Types” that also leads to increase in productivity of honey and other news honey products lines like: royal jelly, propolis, pollens etc, that would develop the Honey Value Chain and then the Yemeni Honey Sector.
The trainees 19 could produce for first time the Yemeni Royal Jelly from the typical apiary practically, that’s seems very interesting and encouraging when we saw the enthusiasm and happiness of the all trainees that they successfully finished this training program theorically & practically and become more confident to transfer these technologies and shared with all their local beekeepers at each governorate and they are willing to start their own businesses to breeding bee queens and produce royal jelly and other bees products and sell it commercially, hopefully to get loans from CAC Bank that Mr. Khaled Abdulmoghni also attended this closing ceremony and announced that the bank will facilitate their loans to start-up theirs businesses in cooperation with the EOP, whereas the EOP submitted CAC Bank a feasibility study for this project for each trainee prepared well by the trainer Mr. Shamsan Al-Ansi.
